A friend of mine is getting engaged end of this month. The theme will be a combination of black and silver. Besides other stuffs, my friend and I will also help her to prepare and decorate for the guests gifts. My part is on decorating, not much can I think of a black theme for an engagement until I found this pic from martha stewart. Seriously, who would have thought that black can be so innocent for a sacred event such a wedding and engagement?

IRFAN & IRSYAD 1ST BIRTHDAY BASH
My twin boys, Mohammad Irfan Altamis and Mohammad Irsyad Altamis were born last year, on July 5th.
As their 1st birthday celebration, my husband and I thought of doing something special and yet keep it simple, so we started browsing the internet to look for ideas.
The 'research works' turned out to be an interesting and magical journey for me as I met with a lot of blogs that don't only offer tips on holding a birthday party, but also mesmerised the readers with their jaw-dropping party ideas and decorations. My, some of them have turned into a successful business, too!
I can't really single out a particular blog that has helped me solely on organising my twin's birthday. It was a combination of many.
My husband and I picked red & blue as the theme. Kids love colors and so do we. A lot of the stuffs here are personally made by us.
The event was held near a lake, and it was raining cats and dogs prior to the event. Fortunately, the rain stopped an hour before the event kicked off.
Honestly, the final result didn't really hit what I had in mind, but as a first timer, I think it's not that bad. My only regret was that I couldn't fill the place with hundreds of balloons and that some of the birthday labels were left unused due to space limitation.
Never mind, maybe I can still try again, next time. Enjoy the pics!

FOR THE LOVE
I have been longing to form this blog for quite some time ago. Unfortunately, time was not at my side as I was busy with my other two online blogs - KIPSWIT & CHERMIN.Then came the 1st birthday bash of my twin boys, so I had to totally keep this project aside. However, as I was busy scrolling and blogwalking- finding ideas to DIY my twins' birthday, I stumbled upon a lot of blogs - which are dedicated to the love of arts. And yes, in the name of art and for the deep love I have for it, I hit, crash and burn to bring the daylight for ButterHeart.
ButterHeart ~ the heart melts as all things pretty steal the sight.
